The Wall Street Journal reported that a zoo in Basel, Switzerland didn't have enough room for two male hippos. So, naturally they're going to put the animal down and feed it to tigers.
What?! Yeah, apparently when the zoo doesn't have enough room for animals they feed them to carnivores. Wait a minute. Don't zoos have a hard time having baby animals? Every time a baby is born at a zoo, it makes huge news because the species bred in captivity. Besides, isn't The Wall Street Journal supposed to be a reputable source?!
What the hell? Come on! Granted, it does sound like a great story: "Zoo to Feed Baby Hippo to Tigers." It is a catchy headline isn't it? But it's SO totally wrong and just plain mean.
