Man who butchered, ate pet dog enters guilty plea

At the Moanalua Golf Course in Hawaii, an 8-month-old puppy named Caddy was tied to an equipment shed by its owner for a bit. Then Saturnino Palting, 48, and Nelson Domingo, 49, who were both groundskeepers at the golf course stole the little puppy. They took him to a house and proceeded to butcher and eat the puppy.

The two are being charged under a new felony animal cruelty law which carries a five year prison sentence. The Deputy Prosecutor Kristine Yoo told the Honolulu Advertiser "This case is not about anybody's culture, its not about anyone's eating habits," she said. "It's about cruelty to animals." AMEN SISTA!

Thousands of baby kangaroos to be clubbed to death in new Australian government ruling

Last time I check this is the 21st century right? This isn't the 18th century. Australia thinks we're in another century though. Due to a severe drought, kangaroos are making their way into residential areas. So, how does the government decide to handle this? They let you go out and kill them! Mind you, there's already a commercial hunting industry that kills four million kangaroos a year. What's bad is the government's guidelines on how to exterminate little joeys (baby kangaroos). Read the article for their horrible process.

Teacher accused of starving cats: 'I lost track of time'

Let me first say that when I lose track of time, I lose about a few hours while I'm at work or it might be a Saturday afternoon. The main culprit for me losing time is shopping. BUT, now that I have a dog to take care of, my world revolves around this little furry, energetic, bouncy, four-legged creature. That isn't the case with Allison Dinsmore, a teacher from Florida.

Dinsmore left her apartment and her two cats in early February (no exact date was given). She left food, water, and a clean litter box and she intended to return in a few days. Ok, that's fine. My cat back home can do that although she'll get mad if you're gone for a week. But by February 23, her apartment complex manager came knocking for rent money, but discovered her dead cats. A veterinarian determined that the cats were starved to death.

What was her excuse? She lost track of time. Now she's up for felony animal cruelty charges and which she should be!
