Man mistakes woman for monkey, shoots her

A man in Malaysia mistook his female neighbor for a monkey and shot her. His neighbor was picking sapodilla fruit from a tree in his yard.

How do you mistake a woman for a monkey? I Googled the sapodilla fruit tree to see what it looks like. Granted it does look like it can have some thick foliage, but still. If it sounded like someone or something was in the tree, don't you think the man would have investigated it first? Maybe he could have walked around the tree to see if it really was a monkey?

Toy named after Iran's leader gets children's show cancelled

If you lived in Iran, you would probably be careful not to make the President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad mad, right? Well, I guess the dad of this kid learned his lesson, or probably banned the kid from using the phone forever!

A kid called in to a popular Iranian children's show and said his dad calls his toy monkey Ahmadinejad. Uh oh. Can you imagine what the people with the show and the dad felt? If I was the dad, I'd be so scared you could probably place a piece of coal between my butt cheeks and you'd get a diamond.

The lesson here folks, when you have a kid be careful what name you give the toys.
