White House apologizes for low-flying plane

With 9/11 still fresh in the minds of Manhattan residents, Monday didn't seem like a photo-op to them. A Boeing 747 was flying low above the city with two fighter jets behind it. Now, if you didn't know any better, you'd be scared too? So, when the rest of us found out that it was a photo-op that had been pre-approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), needless to say they were a bit ticked off as well as the President.

Apparently, they were trying to update their file photos of Air Force One. They should have issued a statement/warning or something telling the people "hey, this isn't real so please don't freak."
