Man pleads guilty in fraud against U.S. Veterans Affairs Department

Who really thinks they can get away with committing fraud against the government? Well, AIG and Wall Street think they have, but that's not the point. No one can really pull the wool over the government's eyes except in the movies. Even then, the guys are always caught in the end.

An Idaho man conned the U.S. Veterans Affairs Department out of $1.5 million ever since 1976. He served in the Air Force from 1969-1975 and retired in 1976. The year he retired, he claimed that he had no use in either leg anymore. So, the government started paying him disability.

Read the rest of the story here to see what this guy did and how he got caught.
