Believing that adding menstrual blood to her employers soup, an Indonesian maid was hoping that the magical dish would help her employer be a bit nicer towards her.
In some cultures, menstrual blood is thought to have special powers. For me, it has no power whatsoever. It's an inconvenient thing!
The maid has been sent to court in Hong Kong and is being accused of trying to poison her employer.
