Man who butchered, ate pet dog enters guilty plea

At the Moanalua Golf Course in Hawaii, an 8-month-old puppy named Caddy was tied to an equipment shed by its owner for a bit. Then Saturnino Palting, 48, and Nelson Domingo, 49, who were both groundskeepers at the golf course stole the little puppy. They took him to a house and proceeded to butcher and eat the puppy.

The two are being charged under a new felony animal cruelty law which carries a five year prison sentence. The Deputy Prosecutor Kristine Yoo told the Honolulu Advertiser "This case is not about anybody's culture, its not about anyone's eating habits," she said. "It's about cruelty to animals." AMEN SISTA!
