Mom accused of using child to block Taser

A Missouri woman is in the company of police due to her stupidity of trying to use her child as a human shield from being tasered by the police.

Maliea Martin claimed that her boyfriend had assaulted her earlier in the evening when police arrived at her apartment. While police were getting the story from Martin, Joshua McAtee walked out of the same complex and started to aggravate police. The police warned him that he was under arrest and to comply. Rape victims forced to pay for evidence

This is just too despicable. The State of Texas is making rape victims pay for evidence. There's a little over $66 million in the coffers to help victims. The money is to pay for the rape kits that are performed at hospitals. Sometimes the police department will pick up part of the tab, and then the State picks up the rest.

However, that's not happening. These victims are forced to re-live their horrible experiences by being forced to pay for it.
