Speeder said he was chasing pot thief

A Pennsylvania man that police arrested in a traffic stop told them he was speeding because he was chasing someone who stole marijuana from him.

The police were conducting a "Buckle Up" check where they target drivers not wearing their seat belts. They stopped a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed and changing lanes without using the turn signals.

During the traffic stop, police said they saw a glass bowl used for smoking marijuana on the front seat in plain view. Cops also found 15 baggies of the stuff and 13 ecstasy pills during the search.

Ryan Neaus told the police he was speeding because he was chasing the person who stole three bags of marijuana and his iPhone.

The Einstein is being charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for careless driving and not wearing his seatbelt.

Speed camera boss banned from driving

Tom Riall, 49, is head of Serco's home affairs division, one of Britain's biggest speed camera companies which has installed and managed speed cameras at more than 4,000 sites around Britain since 1992. So, you would think that this man would be careful with his speed right? Wrong. Apparently, this guy thinks he's above all that.

Cops clocked Riall doing 102.92mph. Riall was fined £300 (CAD $523.02) , £46 (CAD $80.16) towards prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £15 (CAD $26.14). He was also banned from driving after his third speeding offence in two years.

The timesonline has quote Riall as saying

“I accept the decision of the court. I recognise that speeding is not acceptable and regret what I did. My speed was excessive and I’ve made a full apology. I would like to make it clear that I do acknowledge and accept that my speed was excessive and the offence merits points on my driving licence. I would point out that a potential ban would be a significant punishment on me as an individual.”

An eBay auction gets man ticket

Personally, I've never bid on anything on eBay but I know plenty of people who have. I've watched them monitor their particular auction incessantly while they're at work. All they could do or talk about was that particular auction. I thought these people were obsessed but apparently they weren't as obsessed as this guy.
